Tech Preparation for High Technology Careers

Tech-Prep links high school and community college programs to provide focused non-duplicative curriculum and college credit at no cost to the student. Depending on the focus of the preparation area, a student might earn from one to 16 college credits at a community college with which an agreement has been made between the community college and Denton ISD. After the student completes the high school Tech-Prep education, several options are available: 1) A job; 2) Advanced education at a community college that leads to an Associate of Applied Science Degree; or 3) Additional advanced education at a four-year college / university leading to a Bachelor's Degree.
