Raiders Sign 8

Seven Ryan Raiders signed football scholarships on national signing day this February.Ý The eight will accept his scholarship shortly.Ý Thirty Raiders have signed football scholarships over the last five-year period.

Three All-State players, (FS) Ishie Oduegwu, (LB/DE) Xavier Kelley, and (QB) Justin Willis will play Division I football next year.Ý Ishie, a three-year starter on the defense and the defensive MVP of District 5-5A will join former Ryan DT Derek Lokey at the University of Texas.Ý Xavier, also a three-year starter, signed with the University of Arizona.Ý Justin Willis, who finished his high school quarterback career with a 26-4 career record, signed with Southern Methodist University and set up a possible match between former Ryan quarterback James Battle who plays for TCU.Ý SMU and TCU will play each other.

Sam Collins, a three-year starter at center and a first team All-District offensive lineman, signed to play at offensive line coach Adrian Eaglinís alma mater, Abilene Christian University.Ý Three Raiders (OL) Josh Pulattie, (OL) Zach Highfill, and (WR) Ryan White inked scholarships to play for East Central Oklahoma.Ý Linebacker, Phillip Parramore, who transferred to Ryan before his junior year, singed with Kansas Wesleyan.Ý Safety Marvin Taylor, a former freshmen red team player, will sign shortly.
